Have you ever wondered how jewellery is made? would you like to learn? During this taster session you will learn exactly how to make your own earrings. We will practise in copper or brass while we perfect your technique and make the final pair in silver once you understand the process. You will leave with a beautiful piece of jewellery and a sound knowledge of how you did it.
On this course you will learn basic metalsmithing techniques of sawing, sizing accurately, filing, sanding, hammer texturing, stamping and soldering.
All materials will be provided along with teas, coffee and biscuits.
